Eligibility and acceptance
Quiet Balance is for adults aged 18 or older. By creating an account, using the service or purchasing Premium, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
General-wellness service
Quiet Balance records food and presents estimated nutrition trends. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or an emergency service. Calorie targets, public food records and AI estimates may be incomplete or wrong. Check product labels and seek qualified care where appropriate.
Free and Premium
Free access includes manual diary functions, supported food search and barcode lookup, recipes, local progress and data export. While a valid entitlement is active, Premium provides adaptive reviews, optional cloud backup and limited photo, voice and text AI analyses. Manual logging remains unlimited.
Subscriptions
Premium is sold through Apple App Store or Google Play. The store confirmation sheet controls the exact localized price, billing period, taxes and trial eligibility. Unless canceled in store settings before renewal, subscriptions renew automatically. Restore Purchases is available in the app. Refunds follow store rules and applicable law.
Accounts and acceptable use
Protect your credentials and notify support of unauthorized access. You may not bypass access controls, automate abusive traffic, upload unlawful content, interfere with others, resell access or use AI features for high-stakes medical decisions.
Third-party services and your content
Food data may originate from USDA FoodData Central or Open Food Facts. Payments, authentication, AI and cloud features rely on third parties. You retain ownership of content you enter and grant the provider a limited license to process it only to deliver and secure requested features and comply with law.
Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, exact nutrition estimates or a particular result. Nothing excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Termination and changes
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. Deleting an account does not cancel store billing. Material changes will be dated and communicated where required. Questions can be sent to quiet.balance@atomicmail.io.
